Finally a New Post!

OK, a lot has happened since my last post. Aiden is now 6 1/2 months old. He really took off at six months. He's almost crawling. We have all the baby proof stuff bought, but not installed. I'm not sure what we are waiting for!
This is Aiden's costume, it's a 6 point white tail deer buck! The tail is so cute, I'll take picture of his little butt/tail for you and post it next time. Of course Jamie found this costume in Deer Gear Catalog and I fell in love with it also! We are going to put a bow on his neck so people know that Aiden is a pet deer and not a deer you hunt!

Just this weekend Aiden and I met Abby and Lucy in Northfield at a pumpkin patch. The kids loved the sand box full of corn. I had Aiden's hands covered so he couldn't eat the corn, but that didn't stop him from trying!

Aiden was happy just laying in the corn, but I couldn't get him to look at the camera. He was too fascinated with the corn!

Lucy did eat some corn, she didn't seem to mind the taste! Isn't she a cutie!

We reached a couple of mile stones. I had to drop Aiden's crib after seeing him like this below picture. When he was up on all 4 he could pretty much look over the crib! He's now in size 9 month clothes and quickly growing out of that. At his 6 month check up he weighed 17 pounds 10 ounces. He had 4 shots that day and screamed after he got them. But this time he settled down a lot faster after the shots!

He can almost drink out of his water cup by himself, or he just likes to play with it.

He does not like cereal yet, as the picture below shows you. I tried to post a video, but I wasn't able to. I'll try again later!

Aiden loved jumping in our garage this summer while we did some weeding!
Jamie stopped by the house the day of the firefighters dance to show Aiden the old fire truck.
This hat is part of a Halloween outfit Jamie and I got him. When we put it on him, he pulls it off right away. So this may be the only picture we get of him with it on!

Jamie and Aiden playing at 5:30 in the morning! The flash always gets a funny expression on his face! He was smiling as I took this picture.

Aiden loves the bath and attacking the water. Giving him a bath forces me to wash my floor because by the time we're done with the bath, all the water is on my floor!

Our Little Weed!

Aiden keeps growing and growing just like a weed. In the next couple of days things will be changing a lot. I will be going back to work, and Aiden will be going to Grandma Mary's house! We've been visiting Grandma Mary a lot because I've been getting bored in our house. Jamie's been working long days...he leaves before 6:00 a.m. and gets home at 7:45 p.m. A couple of times I have had to put Aiden to bed before Jamie gets home, so poor Jamie doesn't get any "Aiden Time". But because we've been visiting Grandma Mary a lot, Aiden seems to be more comfortable. He hasn't been acting "Strange" as much! Which makes me happy!! Hopefully the acting "Strange" portion of Aiden is over!
Aiden is eating a favorite toy of his. It's easy for him to hold, but scares the heck of out me when he shoves it in his mouth!

Aiden has now mastered rolling over. As you can tell in this picture, he was a little exhausted after getting onto his tummy! When he gets on his tummy he gets his little butt up into the air and slides on his face to where he wants to go. Hopefully he will figure out soon that his arms are very helpful.

He still loves the swing. Instead of just sleeping in it, he also likes to play and hang out. Which is fine with me.

He had his first 4-wheeler ride with daddy after planting some peonies around the house. He sure looks comfortable!

I finally got up to see Emily and Austin before going back to work. Aiden and Austin are about 7 weeks apart. We got the boys together to play trucks and jump in their jumpers. It was so much fun to hang out with them, thanks for having us!

Look how nice they are playing with their trucks.......What Buds!

Our Little Traveler!

This last weekend, Jamie, Aiden and I went to Longville to visit our friends Erin, Jon, and Ceili and Abby, Mike, and Lucy. With three different nap times we almost didn't get this picture taken, but thankfully we did. Lucy is on the left and Ceili is on the Right.

The trip was about 4.5 hours one way. Thankfully, Aiden slept all the way home and still went to bed at 8:00 and slept through the night! What a good boy!
It was so nice to see the girls and their husbands and we can't wait to see them again!

We tried some cereal, but Aiden still likes to push it out with his tongue. Aiden's doctor suggested taking a break for two weeks and trying again. Maybe then we'll get more in his mouth!

Aiden is eating out of a bottle now. He liks to hold the bottle, well he likes to try. I just think he's holding on for dear life so we won't take it away. He's now 4 months old! Time is going by very fast. He's already rolling over. The other day when he was on his tummy he had his little butt up like he was going to start learning to crawl. Thankfully his little butt fell and he decided just to keep rolling!

Tickle Monster!

Hello Everyone! Aiden and I were playing yesterday and I made Jamie record our tickle fun. It's a little long, next time I'll make it shorter or learn how to edit! We hope this makes you smile as much as we smiled!

Our Little Chunky Monkey!

Aiden and I went to the doctor today just to check his ears. He's been pulling on them and acting a little more cranky than normal. We found out that he didn't have an ear infection, but we found out he's 15 pounds, 7 ounces!!
As I said before we were having troubles with his feeding. He wanted to eat all the time, and that would be why he's 15 pounds, 7 ounces and at the 75% for weight. Now that I switched him to a bottle, he slows down and eats less frequently. He's also been moving around more, so maybe that will help his body shape in the near future!
As you can see from the tub picture, he's healthy!
Aiden got his 3 month pictures taken. Here is a link to view his pictures.

Jamie and I went to Cirque De Soleil - Kooza for our 3 year anniversary. It was really good, if any of you get a chance to see it before they leave St. Paul, I would take advantage of it. The cheap seats are just fine!!
Grandma Mary got to watch Aiden while we were at Kooza. She got a little taste of what she will be faced with this fall when I go back to work. Aiden acted "strange" with her. But she shouldn't feel too badly about it. He's been doing that to a lot of people lately. But I've been noticing that if he sees them for a little bit, then he feels comfortable and will go to them.

After much debate, we decided to find another happy home for my Winnie. I guess after you have a baby, you have less time for your bunny. We found a home for her, and she's the happy pet to a 2 1/2 year old boy. I'll miss Winnie, but at least she's getting more attention than she was getting here. I decided not to tell the new owner that Winnie escaped from the garage two weeks ago and was out all night. Hopefully there are no little Winnies in the oven, if you know what I mean!

Summer Time

Summer is going by so fast and Aiden's been growing like a weed. We're not sure, but we think his is teething. His fist is always in his mouth like the below picture. Usually you can hear him gag himself. And there is usually a ton of drool on his shirt. Everyday I check, but no teeth yet.

Aiden is now big enough to play in his car. When we first put him in he would just eat the steering wheel. Now he hits the horn and jumps around. I fear he will be a crazy driver someday.

We borrowed a swimming pool from Grandma Vicky. He really seemed to like it. I can't wait until this fall when we can take him to a swimming lesson.

He still loves his swing. This was a big smile that I got after a nap in the swing.

Aiden had a little case of cradle cap. I combed and combed and got it all, but his hair was spiked for two days. I think he looks cool!

As you can see Aiden is growing. We're not exactly sure, but we think he's around 14 pounds. He will go to the doctor on July 28th and we'll find out for sure.

Life with Aiden has been a lot of fun. We're trying a couple different things with feeding Aiden. I've been pumping and then giving him food in a bottle most of the time throughout the day. We've been giving him some formula. We could barely stretch his feedings to 2 1/2 hours. We were mostly feeding him every two hours, and I was going crazy! But now that I know how much he's getting we're at about ever 3 hours.
We've gone on a couple of trips to Grandma and Grandpa Stoffel's camper in Garrison, MN. He sleeps most of the three hour drive, which is nice.
He really loves music. I think he's been trying to sign with me lately.
I have about 6 weeks left of being home with Aiden. Everyone said that it would go by fast! I can't believe how fast it really did.
We hope everyone is doing well. Take care!!

Growing Boy!

Hello Everyone!
We had Aiden Baptised on June 14th. We would like to say thank you to his godparents!

Mom brought this baptismal hat to our house. We didn't use it, but he looks too cute!

Many of you know that we need to swaddle Aiden all the time. I found some swaddles on the internet. They work wonders.

But our little Houdini has broken out of his swaddle. So I have to make sure it is tight!
Bath time keeps getting better!

Aiden is not tall enough to mark his height on his growth chart, maybe next month!

I will write more next time. I'm finishing this while holding Aiden.
Take care! Love you all!!

Two Months Old!

Aiden is two months old!!
We went to his two month well child visit today at the doctor's office.
Aiden now weighs 12 pounds, 1 ounce and he's 22 1/4 inches long.
Aiden's doctor diagnosed him with acid reflux. He was having troubles nursing and sometimes he would give out a terrible cry while eating. So we got some medication. He doesn't seem to mind taking it. I just hope it does the trick!

Jamie took off work early to come with me to this visit because he got his shots.
I was not ready for they way the nurse had to hold him down and how we had to hold his arms. The poor little guy didn't know what hit him. His little face turned instantly red and he didn't breath until she was done with all three of the shots.
The pictures below show his little band aids.

Aiden's doctor asked if he was getting tummy time, which he does. While at the office she put him on his tummy and he rolled over!
Here are some pictures we got of Aiden while working on tummy time.

Aiden also loves his play mat.

I was playing with the zoom on my camera.
Here's a happy face.....

.....here's a serious face!

And here is one of my favorite pictures of Aiden.

We hope everyone is doing well!
Take Care!!!

Aiden's Humor!

Hello Everyone! Sorry it has been a while since our last update. Aiden has been changing so much. At one time I wondered if he would ever like his diaper being changed because he used to scream throughout a change. Well, this video will show you how much he likes his diaper changed. Actually, sometimes when he's upset, we put him on the changing table and he calms down. Jamie and I have some great conversations with Aiden on his changing table!

Enjoy the video!

Here are some pictures of Aiden and Jamie having a conversation at his changing table.

We are seeing Aiden's smiles more frequently now. Here are some we caught on camera.

I'm not so sure if these are smiles or silly faces! He has so much personality already that it is too funny to watch him sometimes.

Bath time is getting better also, but he's still a little monster sometimes!

This picture was taken during one of our early morning naps.

I was watching the morning news and he was snoozing!

This is a picture of Aiden and Jamie cuddling after Jamie got home from a long day at work.

I had my first Mother's Day, which was a lot of fun.

My favorite gift was the "Aiden" tree that we planted in his honor.

This picture was sent to me on Mother's Day and was the first text/picture I got in the morning when I checked my phone.

We hope everyone is doing great and we hope you have a safe and fun Memorial Day Weekend!
